Standards & the Sustainable Development Goals

Certification is more than a badge. Internationally recognised standards give organisations a practical framework to act on the world's shared priorities — the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals.

A shared global agenda

Adopted by all UN Member States in 2015, the Sustainable Development Goals are a call to action to end poverty, protect the planet and ensure prosperity for all by 2030. Management-system standards translate these ambitions into day-to-day practice: managing quality, environmental impact, health and safety, information security, food safety and resilience in a structured, measurable way.

When AXIOS certifies your organisation to an ISO standard, you gain an independent, accredited framework for continual improvement — and a clear line of sight to the goals your certification supports.
