Client obligations

The commitments every certified client accepts under their AXIOS certification agreement — the basis of a credible, verifiable certification.

1

Maintain the management system

  • Continue to fulfil the requirements of the applicable management system standard at all times, including during surveillance and recertification.
  • Implement appropriate corrections and corrective actions for any nonconformity within the agreed timeframe.
2

Provide audit access & cooperation

  • Allow the audit team access to all sites, areas, records, personnel and equipment within the certified scope.
  • Make arrangements for witnesses, guides and, where applicable, observers, and accommodate short-notice audits where required.
  • Cooperate with the investigation of complaints relating to the certified management system.
3

Use certification correctly

  • Use the certificate and certification mark only within the certified scope and in line with the AXIOS mark-usage rules.
  • Never use certification in a way that could mislead or bring AXIOS or the certification system into disrepute.
  • Stop all use of the certificate and mark immediately if certification is suspended or withdrawn, and revise material if scope is reduced.
4

Notify AXIOS of changes without delay

  • Inform AXIOS promptly of any matter that may affect the management system's ability to continue meeting certification requirements, including:
  • legal, commercial, organizational or ownership changes; changes to top management or key personnel;
  • changes to contact address and sites, scope of operations, or major changes to the management system and processes.
5

Records & accountability

  • Keep records of all complaints and corrective actions relating to the certified management system, and make them available to AXIOS on request.
  • Ensure this policy is communicated to all relevant personnel so that certification is represented accurately.
  • Failure to comply with these obligations may lead to suspension, withdrawal or scope reduction, and renders the organization liable for any resulting claims or costs.
