About the standard
ISO 37001:2025
Anti-Bribery Management System
Specifies requirements and guidance for putting an anti-bribery management system in place across an organization's activities, covering policy, due diligence, financial and non-financial controls, training, reporting channels and corrective action. It applies to bribery committed by or against an organization, directly or through intermediaries, in the public, private or not-for-profit sectors, and can stand alone or be integrated into a broader compliance or governance system. The second edition sharpens expectations around compliance culture, conflict-of-interest handling and climate-related considerations while keeping the certifiable structure of the original.
Key objectives

- Establish due-diligence and control procedures covering staff, partners and transactions
- Build a culture of integrity and anti-bribery awareness through training and communication
- Provide channels for reporting and investigating suspected bribery
- Support legal, regulatory and voluntary anti-bribery compliance commitments
