Road Traffic Safety Management System
Gives any organization that shapes or is affected by road traffic, from transport operators to public authorities, a structured management-system approach to cutting road deaths and serious injuries. Built on the plan-do-check-act cycle, it requires organizations to set a road-safety policy, define measurable objectives, and identify which crash-related risk factors they can control or influence. It is written so that conformity can be independently certified, in the same style as other ISO management-system standards.
