Environmental Management System
Specifies requirements for an environmental management system that helps an organization control the environmental impact of its activities, products and services. It supports organizations in meeting legal and other obligations, cutting pollution and resource use, and demonstrating credible environmental performance to stakeholders. The 2026 edition keeps the established ISO 14001 framework while simplifying its structure and sharpening its focus on climate, biodiversity and resource priorities.
